Paul writes of 'strongholds' in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 — fortified places of thought that resist the knowledge of God. This devotional treats them not as external enemies, but as internal architectures of belief.

Known for his practical teaching, biblical depth, and authentic communication, Joel has devoted his ministry to helping people break free from the lies that keep them bound and experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Strongholds was born from years of pastoral ministry and a deep conviction that many believers love Jesus while still living beneath the weight of unhealthy thought patterns, fear, shame, insecurity, and spiritual bondage. Through this 21-day devotional, Joel invites readers to confront the lies they have believed, renew their minds with God's truth, and walk in the freedom Christ has already secured for them.
Joel and his wife, Tiffany, live in the Atlanta area with their two sons, Carson and Hendrix, where they continue serving the local church and investing in the next generation of leaders.
